As more travelers turn to the Internet to buy travel directly from the provider, Elite Island Resorts, a Caribbean resort chain, initiated a campaign to produce "property-direct" sites, which link the reservation booking transaction directly to the resort instead of working through a third party, providing significant cost savings for the company.
For this newly built resort, O'Meara Hillmann created web content The Verandah Resort & Spa, Antigua to coincide with the property's launch. She developed content from extensive research, one-on-one interviews, site inspection and frequent consultation with key employees, including the hotel's management, builders, landscapers, artist, chef, and key management executives. Using information drawn from many sources, O'Meara Hillmann successfully developed content on tight turnaround, and successfully delivered completed content for the website prior to the property launch in late 2007.

To develop a fresh take on several established Caribbean resort properties in an extremely tight timeframe, O'Meara Hillmann conducted site inspections and in-depth interviews at several of the chain's premium properties, and conducted interviews and correspondence with on-property contacts. She turned around finished content for these resorts within a one-month timeframe. These projects included the creation of newly developed content, updated and correction of existing copy, and recommendation of additions and mapping changes to improve the flow of web content on each site, which were implemented by the web sites' developer.
